XIRR made simple

Profit tells you how much. XIRR tells you how fast.

How to start a SIP in Nepal

  1. Open a demat and MeroShare account.
  2. Register for the fund's SIP with its fund manager.
  3. Pay monthly via connectIPS, a wallet or your bank.
  4. Check units arrive in MeroShare.
  5. Reinvest dividends to compound.
  6. Review your XIRR once a year.
Fees, fund expenses and exit loads all reduce your return.
A dividend lowers NAV by the same amount. It is not extra profit.
A return below inflation means you lost buying power.
